I was struck by a vehicle while riding my bicycle last week. Thankfully, I decided to do a little research before calling the driver’s insurance company. I have not yet hired a personal injury attorney, so that would have been a big mistake. Since this is not a situation people commonly find themselves in, I am not too embarrassed by my ignorance.

These seem like important points for any pedestrians to know. I really liked your point about the importance for importance to follow traffic laws. There have been a few times I’ve seen people try to cross the street before reaching a cross walk in busy traffic. They would walk out to the middle of the street where there’s an island and wait there until traffic is clear enough to cross the other half of the street. That seems potentially dangerous. When crossing the street in busy traffic, it’s important to walk to a cross walk where cars will stop for you to safely cross the street.

This seems like really important information for people to know about compensation rights that car accident victims are entitled to. I was recently involved in a car accident that wasn’t my fault, so it’s good to know that I can be compensated in one way or another. It’s good to know that I can be compensated for missing work due to my injury. I was stuck in the hospital for two weeks, so I had to miss two weeks of work without getting paid for the time that I had to take off.
